I love science!!! Being a sixth grade science teacher is my dream job. I am originally from Houston, Texas. I have a bachelor's of science in conservation biology and a master's in education from Texas A&M in Corpus Christi. I spent time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua as an environmental science educator. I have also worked as a "Mad Scientist", an interpretation specialist for the Texas State Aquarium, and taught high school on the Apache Indian reservation. I have been teaching for over fifteen years, most of those years teaching science.
I have lived in Colorado for two years. My family and I moved here because we love doing things outdoors like hiking, biking, camping and snowboarding. I have two sons, an eighth grader and a fourth grader. They love science too! How can you not?
I look forward to getting to know you and your child this year.
