Personalized Learning

Mountain Ridge Middle School's Personlaized Learning program aims to support our school's mission of empowering lifelong learners who practice responsible global citizenship in the digital age by providing diverse, authentic learning opportunities.

Mountain Ridge has been a BYOD [bring your on device] school, and provided approximately 250 devices to families who were in need of a device.  In November & December we processed an additional 614 devices received through CARES Act 2020.  In January,  Mountain Ridge began to transition from BYOD to 1:1 DPD (District Provided Device) for each student and have checked-out an additional 285 devices.  As we proceed through hybrid and synchronous environments, and integrate more technology for instruction, learning, and assessement, we hope to ensure each Mountain Ridge student has functional and current technology to access their coursework.

Sign-up below for a DPD (District Provided Device)

This application is for families and students attending Mountain Ridge Middle School, who haven't received a school device.  If you have multiple students attending MRMS, please complete an application for each student.

If your student currently has an iPad checked-out, please complete application and we will replace the iPad with a laptop.

When a device is assigned to your student, a help desk agent will contact you (via the email or phone number you provided in the application) with a timeframe when the device can be picked up.

Parent/Guardian and student will need to come to the school.
  • Parent/Guardian needs to sign Device Check-out form
  • Student needs to sign in on device
Or students who are in-person, a device Check-out form can be sent home with student for Parent/Guardian's signature.  Once the device Check-out form is returned, student will receive device.
